M-Audio Studiophile BX8a Deluxe 130-watt Bi-amplified Studio Monitors

Today I'm taking a peek at another set of awesome looking speakers from an awesome brand, the M-Audio Studiophile BX8a Deluxe Studio Monitors.
Sporting an ultra-sleek outer shell, these monitors look really nice with any setup. Really nice and low profile. The body is standardly shielded to prevent any outside interference leaking into your valuable listening experience and a bass port runs through the speaker's bodywork. The speaker cones are solid and built from kevlar and provide booming low end. The 8 inch drivers feature rubber surrounds around the edge to ensure maximum dampening.
The tweeters in the BX8as are 1-1/4 inch in diameter, crafted from natural silk and believe me, deliver a solid, clear high end that commends the value of this stunning pair of speakers.
Beneath the hood of the BX8a is a crossed-over, bi-amplified setup. The advantage of bi-amplificiation is that the drivers are designated to each driver independently which ensures that the drivers are delivering only their optimal frequencies.
The volume and power controls are tucked away on the back of the units and you can connect your audio source via XLR or TRS.

I enjoyed these speakers very much, they definitely caught my eye, and they're on special on Amazon at the moment.
